Hi, I'm Melanie...

Or, Mel as most people know me. My mission is to help you feel more positive, inspired and excited about life by prioritising rest and simplifying your biggest goals. Sometimes that means doing a bit of the hard work and setting a few important boundaries.

Are you feeling out of sync?

If I had to guess why, I'd say it was pressure to succeed or feeling guilty for taking time to rest – or not feeling worthy of living a life that lights you up. Am I right?

I know what it's like to not feel good enough, to feel massive waves of guilt, and to keep procrastinating on the things that actually light you up.

After many lessons and self-work, I know what I want out of life, who I am, and where my energy lies. I want to help you do that, too.

So, what exactly do I do?


1:1 Life coaching (I offer a 1-hour coaching session and a 16-week coaching program), blog posts and a monthly newsletter.

A bit more about me

I'm an introvert and empath who's known for telling it like it is when it comes to work-life balance and well-being – two non-negotiables in my book.

As far as my career goes, I've worked in some incredibly varied roles over the years. Au pairing and running a gift hamper business are two of my favourite highlights. I also spent some time in recruitment, IT and advertising. Leaving the admin world to try freelance writing eight years ago was one of the best (and scariest) decisions I've ever made.

When I'm not behind the laptop, you'll find me at the coffee machine or catching up on voice notes from friends. On weekends, you'll probably find me supporting our local wineries, binge-watching a new favourite series, or enjoying nature with my favourite human.
