Hi! I’m Melanie Chisnall, a multipassionate writer, certified life coach, and holistic well-being advocate.
I love helping people bring more well-being, ease, spaciousness and meaning into their world through tiny habit building, self discovery and conscious everyday practices.
What you’ll find here? Real talk, practical inspiration, encouragement and genuine support to help you live a less restrictive – more authentic, open-hearted life.
I don’t believe in subscribing to the idea that we’ve got to have our entire lives figured out. Or that we should niche down into one single area of expertise for our chosen profession. If you ask me, that’s inviting a whole lot of unnecessary overwhelm – and anxiety-driven procrastination.
My idea of happiness is living a life beyond the ‘box,’ inviting in more ease, spaciousness and fulfilling experiences, and exploring things that make me feel like I’m growing, alive, inspired, and deeply connected to myself and the world around me.
I grew up in the 80s and 90s, when sensitivity was still seen as something that had to be changed or overcome. Luckily, the world has changed quite a bit since then! Reading ‘Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron and discovering the 16 Personalities has been a complete game changer for me.
I love writing, being in nature, learning about things that interest me – usually along the lines of personal growth, well-being, leadership and spirituality – and creating art or poetry when I’m inspired to.
In the last 10 years, I’ve worked as a copywriter and content creator in marketing teams, and as a freelancer.
I’m a writer who’s passionate about personal growth and holistic well-being (emotional, mental, physical and spiritual). I grew up in Windhoek, Namibia and live in Somerset West, South Africa with my husband and a very spoilt cat. For fun, I’ll head to the mountains for a hike, grab a coffee and enjoy it somewhere scenic, or watch something intriguing or inspiring.
I’ve always been interested in personal growth and well-being. I’m a certified life and well-being coach, and I’m constantly expanding on what I know.
