Or, Mel as most people know me. I'm a writer, life coach and self-care advocate. But most importantly, I'm an introvert & empath who wants to help people like you know your worth and do more of the things that light you up.

I'm Melanie Chisnall, a writer, life coach and self-care advocate. I've spent a lot of my life waiting for permission and shrinking back. I know what it feels like to be in your head, wanting to please the world, and feeling lost when it comes to your passions or purpose.

After many tough lessons and self-work, I finally know who I am and I've stopped feeling the need to apologise for that – or for wanting more. I want to help you do that, too. I believe that the best way to create big changes in our lives, is to get brutally honest with what we really want and to embrace what makes us unique.

A bit more about me

I'm an INFJ and empath who's known for telling it like it is when it comes to work-life balance and well-being – two non-negotiables in my book.

As far as my career goes, I've worked in some incredibly varied roles over the years. Au pairing and running a gift hamper business are two of my favourite highlights. I also spent some time in recruitment, IT and advertising. Leaving the admin world to try freelance writing eight years ago was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made.

When I'm not behind my laptop, you'll find me at the coffee machine or catching up on voice notes from friends. On weekends, you'll probably find me supporting our local wineries, getting back into running (really slowly right now), or enjoying nature with my favourite human.
